It is with bittersweet emotion we announce the promotion to a new position with another council for Matt Specht.
Matt has been offered and accepted a promotion to Field Director with the Buckeye Council in Canton, Ohio.
As you all know Matt has been a great asset to our team from the first day he arrived on our staff. Matt started out as the original district director for Prickly Pear and Vigilante and staff leadership over the Mtn Valley executive.
We then moved Matt to Black Otter where he has continued to provide quality leadership and improvement in membership and ICL for Black Otter and staff leadership over the Badlands and Shortgrass executive. No doubt Kathryn has played a critical role in our success as a council as well.

Matt’s last day in the office will be February 28th.
