Attention All Units! We only have a short time left In the 2018 Scouting year with lots of fun things happening locally for our youth to take part in; holiday parades, fall outings, Christmas parties, just to name a few.
Many of you have had some great sign-up night events and with that comes new adventures for boys and girls of all ages. However, with fall community activities going on it is possible some youth might have missed a chance to join Scouts.
Invitations to join is a year-round opportunity and can provide youth with many great adventures.
Please visit with your District Executive about how you can conduct a second chance sign-up event at the schools you serve.
They can help you with the resources/ideas to make sure all families can enjoy the Scouting program.
Don’t forget, if you have a Scout that brings a friend that signs-up they will receive a “Recruiter” shoulder strip patch, along with a “Scout Me In” fidget spinner.
Inviting new families to join can also help build your leadership team within your pack or troop.
