Dustin Shoemake – District Director
A big congratulations to Montana Council field staff member Dustin Shoemake on his promotion to Field Director. Dustin began his role with Team 315 in 2013 as District Executive for the Lewis & Clark and Central Districts and he has since been the Senior District Executive expanding on his responsibilities while serving as the support in many areas. Dustin’s new role will include being the staff leader to the District Executives in the Hi-Line, Nu-Ooh-Ska, Bitteroot, Mullan Trail and Lewis & Clark Districts. He will also be helping to create and cultivate Native American Scouting programs across Montana and serve as the staff advisor to our annual popcorn sale. Thank you, Dustin, for all you do and congratulations on your promotion to Field Director.
Sandra Dogiakos – Lewis and Clark District
Sandra Dogiakos (doe-ya-kose) is our new District Executive for the Lewis & Clark District! She is a sixth generation Montanan who grew up on the Hi-Line. She received her degree from the University of Montana and has spent most of her professional life organizing volunteers, marketing, and creating content.
Sandra’s father and grandfather are Montana Eagle Scouts (father is class of ’63 Great Falls, and grandfather is class of ’37 Chinook) and she credits them for passing those values on to her. She is also married an Eagle Scout as well, Steve, who is a Unit Commissioner and District Digital Communications Chair.
Heather Hummert – Hi-Line and Nu-Ooh-Ska Districts
Heather Hummert is our new Paraprofessional serving the Hi-Line and Nu-Ooh-Ska Districts. She has lived on the Hi-Line for the past 11 years in the town of Gildford. After attending Monmouth College, she went on to spend much of her professional life coordinating volunteers and working directly with a variety of non-profits, specializing in serving active duty military and veterans.
Her Scouting background includes Venturing Advisor, a Wood Badge Staff member, Supernova and Nova Coordinator, as well as District Training Chair. She is the proud mother of an Eagle Scout and a Tiger Cub and is married to the Order of the Arrow Assiniboine Chapter Advisor, Jeff, who also serves as a Unit Commissioner.
