Over the past two weeks, I have had the opportunity to travel to all four of our Montana Council properties and I would like to take a moment to recognize a few folks who are doing outstanding work preparing for a summer of Scouting.
First – our Program and Camp Directors, Libby, Alex, Coco, John, Luke, Peter and Shon and our Rangers, Duane Roman and Jim. Without all of these folks, summer camps simply could and would not happen.
Their enthusiasm, motivation, dedication and Scout spirit is simply off the charts.
Next – to our Camp Staff. Your contributions cannot be overlooked and are appreciated. Make it a great summer!
Lastly – a heartfelt round of applause to the volunteer leaders across the state who recognized the value of summer camp and what it does to strengthen Scouting.
Your commitment to the youth you are responsible for is simply amazing. Our commitment to you and to making your life easier and getting you necessary resources and information is at the top of our priority list.
The Key Three of the council think about your needs every day and we remain dedicated to you and what you require to be successful. We know there is room for improvement – and it is our new focus.
Enjoy camp. It’s a great summer to be a scout in Montana!
