Congratulations to everyone. Montana Council achieved Gold Status Journey to Excellence!
This is the top status that a Council can achieve from criteria set by the National Service Center. It is rare for a Council to receive this coveted recognition.
The Council achieved Gold Journey to Excellence (JTE) status in the following areas:

- Fundraising
- Endowment
- Youth Retention
- Community Service
- New Unit Organization
The Council also achieved Silver and Bronze in many other areas including:
- Program Areas
- Unit Leadership
- Council Leadership
- Commissioner Unit Contacts
It took everyone’s efforts to achieve this. I know we are looking forward to wonderful things in 2020. I thought, however, it was important to recognize the council for this prestigious achievement. Thank you all for your hard work in 2019.
As always, I want to thank our excellent staff, volunteers and the Council Board for their service to the youth of Montana. As I traveled around the state last year, I saw numerous examples of outstanding dedication from everyone to our organization.
