Hopefully, by now, you have been contacted by your districts Investment in Character & Leadership (ICL) chair requesting a date for a presentation at your upcoming Blue & Gold banquet for Cub Scouts or Court of Honor for Boy Scouts.
It is important the presentation be held at a meeting where parents are present.
You may be aware we recognize units for the participation and money raised from their ICL presentation. Here is how it works:
2018 ICL Bronze Gold Platinum>2018 ICL Bronze Gold Platinum
For Cub Scout Packs
To qualify for BRONZE raise more than $100 per Scout between ICL donations and council share of 2017 popcorn sale and meet the goal by April 30th. The unit will receive $10 discount per youth in 2018 to Montana Council Webelos Residence Camp and 10% discount to district day camps in 2018.
To qualify for GOLD raise more than $175 per Scout between ICL donations and council share of 2017 popcorn sale and meet the goal by April 30th. The unit will received $15 discount per youth in 2018 to Montana Council Webelos Residence Camp, 1 free adult registration to camp or training, 25% discount to district day camps in 2018, free 2019 pinewood derby kit per 2018 registered Cub Scout, 5% discount on purchases (unit or personal) through the Montana Council Service Centers.
To qualify for PLATINUM raise more than $250 per Scout between ICL donations and council share of 2017 popcorn sale and meet the goal by April 30th. The unit will receive $25 discount per youth in 2018 to Montana Council Webelos Residence Camp, 2 free adult registrations to camp or training, 50% discount to district day camps in 2018, free 2019 pinewood derby kit per 2018 registered Cub Scout, 10% discount on all purchase (unit or personal) through the Montana Council Service Centers.
For Boy Scout Troops & Venture Crews
To qualify for BRONZE raise more than $100 per Scout between ICL donations and council share of 2017 popcorn sale and meet the goal by April 30th. The unit will receive $10 discount per youth in 2018 to Montana Council Summer Camps and NYLT.
To qualify for GOLD raise more than $175 per Scout between ICL donations and council share of 2017 popcorn sale and meet the goal by April 30th. The unit will receive $15 discount per youth in 2018 to Montana Council Summer Camps and NYLT, 1 free adult registration to camp or training, free Boy Scout/Venturing rank advancement patches thru May 2018, 5% discount on purchases (unit or personal) through the Montana Council Service Centers.
To qualify for PLATINUM raise more than $250 per Scout between ICL donations and council share of 2017 popcorn sale and meet the goal by April 30th.
