In the coming months of 2023, membership recruitment will be a topic of discussion during district and council meetings.
Beginning at the Annual Convention later this month, the council will host several in-person seminars concerning recruitment, with additional prerecorded seminars shared later. (Register for Convention here.)
In conjunction with one of these seminars, online applications for adults will be activated for units to begin using, and an additional seminar on the 12 Point Plan will be held where units can start to share their recruitment plans.
In May, districts will begin holding fall recruitment training, and on May 16, 2023, at 7 pm on Zoom, the council will offer a Fall Recruitment Training. As of now, you may email membership@montanabsa.org, where a team of volunteers and Professional Scouters are available to assist with any membership-related questions or needs. You may also email registrar@montanabsa.org with any paper applications to be submitted and posted.
When emailing applications, be sure they are completed correctly with Youth Protection concluded and money authorized from your unit’s account to pay for them.
