May held true in Montana and delivered a rainy weekend for the Sporting Clays event in Billings sponsored by Stockman Bank.
Just before the shotgun start, the rain stopped and held off until we were done! In spite of the weather we had a good turnout, people came from as far away as Great Falls, and a great time was had by all.
We had a number of wonderful prizes to give away, a first-time silent auction, Blues BBQ supplied the food, and we had a winner of the Browning Black label gun.
Most of all, we joined in fellowship to support scouting in Montana Council and had a “blast” doing it. This is a must to put on your schedule for next year!
