Scout Perspective: Jamboree Tesitmonial

The 19th National Scout Jamboree was an amazing adventure for Montana Scouts!

As Troop Historian I was able to experience and document the best the Jamboree had to offer.

During the ten days we spent at the Summit Bechtel Reserve in West Virginia, we participated in many activities.

Some of our favorite activities were the Zip Lines, Patch Trading, Water Obstacle Course, Jambopalooza Carnival, Garden Ground Mountain Hike, Spartan Race, Religous Services, and Messengers of Peace Service Day.

We also enjoyed the Opening Ceremony with Inky Johnson and X Ambassadors, the mid-week presidential visit, and the Closing Ceremony with Creek Stewart and – or course – the awesome firework and laser show.

The best part of the Jamboree was meeting Scouts from all over the country. The Jamboree was a truly incredible experience that we will not soon forget.

Yours in Scouting,
Finn W.
