Leaders will tell you this is one of the best classes they have ever taken! It is fun, you get to camp without worrying about any Scouts. You will learn how to deliver the Scouting program in the outdoors through camping, hiking, campfires, and other skills. You will also learn how to do this safely. Get ready to enjoy camping with your Scouts because you have the confidence of a trained leader.
What: Outdoor Leader Skills & BALOO Combined
When: Friday, May 5, 6:00 pm – Saturday, May 6, 6:00 pm
Where: Mill Creek Cabin in Paradise Valley
Cost: No cost. Fees for leader position-required training are included in the council’s annual adult registration fee.
Prerequisite training (online):
- Hazardous Weather Training (bring your certificate)
- Cub Scout Leaders need BALOO online course
- Scout BSA Leaders need the Scoutmaster Training
