Missoula Bids Goodbye To Ty Robinson

It is with a very heavy heart that we announce the passing of Robert Henry “Ty” Robinson.

Ty was 102-years-old, a Distinguished Eagle Scout, past Council President and Lifelong Champion of Scouting.

The Council Field Office in Missoula is named after Ty Robinson, who once remarked that it meant more to him to have his name on that sign than on any other, anyplace in the world.

Read the Missoulian’s profile of Ty, “Missoula bids goodbye to Ty Robinson, ‘champion of all good causes'”

Ty touched a lot of hearts throughout his distinguished life serving Missoula, none are more thankful than we are at Montana Council. He led by doing and proved that generosity, compassion, kindness and good turn daily are – at least parts of – a recipe for long an happy life.

Please join us in a Scout Salute for one amazing Scout.
