Every Scout deserves a well-trained leader.
Effective April 30, 2018 direct contact leaders must complete Hazardous Weather Training to be considered position trained.
To be considered a fully trained Leader, you must take the trainings listed in the “Trained Leader Positions” as well as the following trainings:
- Youth Protection – Offered either face-to-face or online, and is required before your BSA application is turned in.
- Hazardous Weather Training – online
