Introducing Blake Chase

Blake Chase is the new District Executive in Prickly Pear and Vigilante districts.

Hello all,

My name is Blake Chase, I am happy to be joining the Montana Council as the new District Executive in Prickly Pear and Vigilante Districts. I recently graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Public Policy and Administration from Brigham Young University- Idaho. I grew up in Scouting and earned my Eagle rank in 2014. I am excited to bring my education and Scouting experience to Montana.

In my previous roles, I have transformed my workspace into an area of productivity and enjoyment. While working with Royal Journey’s Developmental Disability Agency in the Human Resources Department, I oversaw the completion of a months-long project culminating in the hiring of over fifty individuals in the span of less than a week for a summer-long work opportunity. I was able to liven up the workplace at Papa Murphy’s Take ‘N’ Bake Pizza every day for four years with enthusiasm for customer service and pizza.

In my free time, I’ve been working towards publishing my first novel, titled The Conscripted, a sci-fi adventure of survival, unlikely odds, and friendship. I also find joy in working on small side projects. One such project is called Don’t Judge a Book by its Cover, an online bookstore where readers find books based on the content of the novel rather than the cover. I have been able to expand this venture to Amazon, where I sell used books as well. I also really enjoy time outside and am willing to go camping pretty much any weekend. I also consider myself an artist and loves working with acrylic and watercolor paints.

It is my aspiration to one day build my own small sailboat with my kids. It might not be the most beautiful on the water, but I will love it because it will be made of memories in addition to the lumber and sweat that go into it. I would also love to open my own soda-barcade one day. I enjoy creating specialty drinks at any opportunity that is presented.

I am married to Emily Chase, who is following her dream of providing places memories are created by working as a home-building estimator for a company out of North Dakota. We have a three-month-old son, Levi, who is still a bit unsure about how crazy his parents are. It’s okay though because we still love him anyway.

Thank you for the opportunity to join you as District Executive in the Montana Council. I look forward to meeting everyone as soon as I am able.
