“Today’s Scouts, Tomorrow’s Leaders”
The 2018 Montana Council Camporee will take place June 14-17th at the Townsend Fairgrounds in Townsend, MT.
A wide variety of activities and participation of units from all over the State will make this event a highlight for many Scouts.
All are invited – Cubs, Boy Scouts, Venturers, and Explorers. Please put these dates on your unit’s calendar!
Council Camporee Unit Registration 2018
DISTRICT CHALLENGE: The District bringing the highest percentage of their registered troops and crews will win an ice cream social at the Council Camporee!
If your units have not registered for Camporee, there is still time!
You can visit https://montanabsa.org/news-events/events/council-camporee/, print your registration form, fill it out and turn it in or you can download it from the links above and below.
Some of the planned activities include Gaga Pit, Rope Making, Shooting Sports, Archery, Low COPE course, R/C Airplanes, and many more. Come join us for what could be a once in a lifetime experience.
Also, as part of our upcoming celebration of Scouting, we are forming a Camporee Pep Band for the 2018 Council Camporee!
Tom Mazanec has taken on the responsibilities of the conductor and is inviting all musical Scouts to bring their instruments and be part of the band.
If you want to participate but can’t bring an instrument, Montana State University has generously agreed to loan us a selection of instruments and they will be available for use at Camporee.
All are invited–Cubs, Boy Scouts, Venturers, and Explorers.
