Can you imagine working alongside and learning from the experts at Harley-Davidson as you work toward earning your Engineering Merit Badge?
Now you can during a one-hour virtual, interactive program where you will learn about the role of an engineer of motorcycles while completing the nine requirements to earn your badge.
This new 90-minute online program is offered on Saturdays at 8:30 AM and Tuesdays at 6:30 PM (Central Time) and is open to scouts from all over the country. Our program facilitator will guide the troops and explore the role an engineer when creating a Harley-Davidson® Motorcycle. Nine requirements for the Engineering Merit Badge will be discussed during this virtual, interactive program.
Advance registration is required. Program registration closes 48 hours prior to the scheduled program.
Program Fee: $20 per Scout (includes the activity booklet used during the program and a special H-D patch upon completion of the program). Registered scouts will receive an email from the program facilitator with the log-in instructions and the Merit Badge Activity booklet (virtual version) one day prior to the program.
IMPORTANT: Prior to registering, the Scout should have a discussion with their unit leader to obtain approval to participate in the program and to confirm their unit leader will sign the blue card upon completion of the program and badge requirements.
Blue Card: Upon completion of the program, the Scout will be issued a digital blue card signed by the merit badge counselor. The Scout will need to print the digital blue card and have it signed by their unit leader (one blue card per registration).
