Just a few short days ago, the BSA announced some major changes to its organization, including a new name for its program for older youth. The Boy Scouts program will become “Scouts BSA” starting in February 2019.
The BSA also announced “Scout Me In,” a crisp, modern campaign to invite young people and families to be a part of the life-changing experience of Scouting.
“Scout Me In” is more than a catchy tagline. It’s a reinforcement that the values we all celebrate in Scouting — encapsulated in the Scout Oath and Scout Law — are relevant for both young men and young women.
“Scout Me In” is a call to action. A call for togetherness. A call for celebration.
As part of this celebration, the Montana Council would like to invite families to participate in our new family camping experience: Akela Land. To show how excited we are for families to be part of the Scouting experience, we will be offering attendance to Akela Land at no charge.
To take advantage of this introductory offer, registrations must be received by July 20th, 2018.
Akela Land is a resident camping experience designed for families with Tigers, Wolves, and Bears. It will be operating this summer from Aug 16th – 18th, 2018.
