District Overview
The Central District services the counties of Judith Basin, Fergus, Petroleum and Wheatland. Combined, these counties cover approximately 9,323 square miles in the central part of the state. The counties in the Central District have a total population of approximately 16,321 people with county seats being in Standford, Lewistown, Winnett and Harlowton respectively.
