The Mountain Valley District Day Camp on Saturday, June 17 in Belgrade is a favorite event of Cub Scouts, but not everyone knows that this camp is open to all Cub Scout age boys and girls! You do not have to be a registered Scout or pay for Scout membership. All that is required is paying a program fee of $40. The price for this camp is a steal! It includes a souvenir t-shirt, snacks, a full day of activities, and all program supplies.
This is a great event to introduce a family to the positive and fun environment of Cub Scouting. The theme this year is Off to the Races. Car and engine inspired activities like a box car derby, as well as favorite Cub Scout activities like archery, will be part of the many fun things that happen in this full-day camp. This year Cub Campers will be able to “shop” at the Races Gas Station using Camper Dollars, so they don’t need to bring money for what is usually called a Trading Post. Everything is included in the program fee.
