As the fall season approaches and the snow slowly works its way down the mountains, I can’t help but think about how much I miss summer camp and that it is never too early to plan for next year!
The Montana Council is now accepting application for the 2017 summer season. We are in need of fun loving people with the spirit of adventure and a great love of the outdoors. Come join the team and help us bring the spirit of scouting to one of our summer camps next year.
We have positions available in all parts of camp from cook to counselor and everything in between.
Download and pass around this staff flyer, with brief descriptions of positions and contact information.
Applications can be also be found Montana Council’s website.
We are also looking for new scouts the become part of our CIT (counselor in training) program. The CIT program is for youth ages 14 – 15 who would like to learn what working at summer camp is all about.
CIT’s can come to camp for two weeks and experience working in different parts of camp for half the day and working on merit badges the other half.
The best part is that is does not cost them anything! It’s like two free weeks of camp. Anyone interested in this program should fill out an application found at the link listed above.
Just think summer camp is only eight months away. We’ll see you there!
