JOHN YEAGER
In our sixth and final 2020 Silver Beaver recipient spotlight, we recognize John Yeager, an active volunteer in the Mountain Valley District who has been making an impact in Scouting for over seven years.
John has served at the unit and district level in multiple roles as well as serving on Wood Badge Staff and as the National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT) East Course Director in 2019. His help with the 2018 Council Camporee was invaluable.
Through his job with the Montana Army National Guard, he coordinated support, including both material and manpower from the Guard. John goes above and beyond to provide exceptional programming for the youth of tomorrow.

TRAVIS DEATON
In our first 2020 Silver Beaver recipient spotlight, we are recognizing Travis Deaton. Travis is an active volunteer in the Mullan Trail District who has been making an impact in Scouting for over 17 years while serving with distinction at the unit and district level in multiple roles.
He began in Scouting as Cubmaster for Pack 4996, when both of his sons crossed over, he moved to Troop 1911 to become Assistant Scoutmaster. His professionalism, knowledge and belief in the Scouting program are insurmountable.
He is currently serving as District Commissioner for the Mullan Trail District. His energy, drive and enthusiasm have been an example to all unit leaders and commissioners. Thank you for your dedication to Scouting Travis!
In our second 2020 Silver Beaver recipient spotlight, we are recognizing David Eubanks, an active volunteer in the Mountain Valley District who has been making an impact in Montana Scouting for over 10 years.
David has served at the unit and district level in multiple roles as well as serving on staff for the Council of Commissioner Science. He is currently serving as the District Commissioner for Mountain Valley District.
David has been a strong foundation for the commissioners not only in the district but in the council. He has earned the Commissioner Arrowhead Award and the Training Key. He has dedicated his time selflessly to Scouting and made a positive impact in the community. Thank you for your all you do for Scouting David!
TOM LYNCH
In our third 2020 Silver Beaver recipient spotlight, we are recognizing Tom Lynch, an active volunteer in the Lewis and Clark District who has been making an impact in Scouting for over eight years.
Tom has served in many roles in Pack 4143 and is currently an Assistant Scoutmaster in Troop 1001. He also contributes to Scouting by being a Merit Badge Counselor for 27 merit badges.
He is instrumental in organizing and developing the Merit Badge Academy in Great Falls. Not only has Tom made an impact on the youth in Scouting, but he has also impacted youth in the community as a Master Officer in the Great Falls Police Department.
He continues to devote his life to the next generation of leaders. Thank you, for your dedication to Scouting, Tom!
In our fourth 2020 Silver Beaver recipient spotlight, we recognize Kyle Roberts, an active volunteer in the Lewis & Clark District and has been making an impact in Scouting for over seven years.
Kyle has always been enthusiastic about Scouting and his commitment to the youth in the community is evident. He served as the District Executive for Lewis & Clark District before changing his career and pursuing his passion for teaching.
Kyle currently serves as the Scoutmaster for Troop 1001 in Great Falls where he has guided countless Scouts and helped many to achieve Eagle, which is evident in his many Mentor pins. Thank you for your dedication to Scouting Kyle!
MIKE WADE
In our fifth 2020 Silver Beaver recipient spotlight, we recognize Mike Wade, an active volunteer in the Shortgrass District who has been making an impact in Scouting for over 13 years.
Mike has served in many roles in units and on the district level, from Den Leader to Scoutmaster, and is currently a District Member at Large. He is the go-to guy when anyone needs assistance. Whether it’s planing day camp, helping with NYLT, or just being the cook and dishwasher, he is always happy to help. Mike is the perfect example of a leader that exemplifies the Scout Oath and Law.
