What a wonderful day of racing!! The fastest Pinewood Derby cars in the state of Montana gathered at the Gallatin Valley Mall to show off their great designs and speed. It was exciting!
A total of 69 cars registered for the race. We had cars from all over the state – including Bozeman, Belgrade, Three Forks, Manhattan, Gardiner, Missoula, Butte, Billings. We had cars from as far away as Sidney, Libby, Polson, St. Ignatius, Havre, Great Falls and Sweet Grass! The state was very well represented!!

Special thanks to all of those who helped set up and run the races throughout the day, making sure our computer and timer worked, ferrying cars from the finish line to the starting line, and general race organization, including: Daniel King, Jason Kovnesky, Tom Kostelnik, Chase Matthews, Dave Eubanks, Frank Hanocek and our two Boy Scout volunteers – Alex Suko from Troop 649 and Colter Voss from Troop 516. The event wouldn’t be the success it was without you.
