Silver Beavers have some exciting activities planned for 2022!
The Silver Beavers are Scouters from around the state who receive the highest volunteer recognition available from the council. On January 8th they convened via video conference and reviewed the Eagle Scout picnic held in August and sponsored by the Marine Corps League of Great Falls. Currently, the group meets on the third Saturday morning of each month.
Silver Beavers are currently working on three projects:
- A Scholarship Fund for the Montana Council’s International Scout Expo, June 16-19, 2022. At least one deserving Cub Scout, Scout BSA or Venturer will be chosen to attend all four days of the Expo. Depending on the amount in donations received, additional Scouts may be selected to receive a scholarship. The application form is currently being compiled and will be released as soon as possible, but no later than February 1, 2022. Anyone wishing to donate to the Expo Scholarship fund may send their contribution to:

Plan now to attend to hear all the news of the Silver Beavers’ activities, including efforts to include more participation from Silver Beavers all around Montana, and be in the photo that will be taken.
