Recruiting and retaining quality staff member at camp has always been a challenge. As staff members grow older they seek higher paying jobs to help meet their needs.
In an effort to combat this problem, last year we introduced the Camp Staff Scholarship Program. The program will reward quality staff members with a scholarship to be used for continued education.
The more years a staff member works for camp, the larger the potential scholarship.
This year, we are happy to announce that due to a generous donation, we have been able to revamp the scholarship program to have even greater benefits.
Staffers who have been with us for a few years may now find that the increased benefits will make working at camp as rewarding as many other typical summer jobs.
