Montana Council is pleased to again be a part of #GivingTuesday, a global day dedicated to giving.
This is an especially appropriate partnership for Montana Council and Boy Scouts of America.
In the wake of Black Friday and Cyber Monday, it is continuously important to remember our duty to others. We can carry that momentum of being thankful from our holiday dinner tables this week into an actual sphere of difference.
This coming Tuesday, Nov. 28, show support and help build character in our community by giving to Montana Scouting.
We understand it is cliche to say every little bit counts, but it is true. With the smallest amount given, you can easily reach over 12,000 youth and volunteers in Montana.
Scouting builds character and community through a variety of activities including camping, canoeing, hiking, mountain biking, community service projects, and more.
These hands-on activities instill a sense of confidence, preparedness and honor in our youth.
Some youth avoid obstacles. Scouts overcome them.
The mission of the Montana Council is to help young people make ethical and moral decisions over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Scout Law.
The life lessons learned in Scouting form a foundation to embrace opportunity and overcome obstacles in life.
Join us this #GivingTuesday and inspire personal philanthropy and encourage bigger, better and smarter charitable giving during the holiday season. Show that the world truly gives as good as it gets.
As Scouts head out every day to do good turns and “To help other people at all times,” let us lead by example by showing that Scout values matter.
