Education, Fellowship, Food and Fun with other Scouters in Montana — A Great Time for a Great Cause
Mark your calendar for April 29-May 1, 2016, in Missoula, Mont. Come and see exactly why the Montana Council is considered one of the best councils in the nation. Bring your fellow Scouters, friends and family for a great weekend!
If you have never attended a Montana Council Convention, or been to a Scouter Appreciation Night – NOW is the time.
Friday night is our 5th Annual Scouter Appreciation Night. Come dressed as your favorite TV or Movie Character and celebrate volunteerism in Scouting at its finest. This year’s event will feature fun and games, a live band and our always popular Outstanding District Awards. It is a small but meaningful way for us to say “thank you” for all that you do to make Scouting in Montana great!
Wake up Saturday to our Scouter’s Breakfast – open to all and highlighting NYLT, Wood Badge and other Council opportunities.
Saturday will feature seminars including: Tech in the Backcountry, Lightning Safety, Survival Kit Customization, Indoor Archery, Youth Protection, Camp Cooking and so much more. There is a link to the full Seminar Schedule below.
You will also have the opportunity to engage Scouters throughout the state on improving your program.
Our Awards Luncheon is open to all – Come help us recognize outstanding work on behalf of our Commissioners and Council Volunteers. We award our Anniversary and Photo Contest winners as well!
Saturday evening is capped off with the Silver Beaver Dinner – where the highest award our Council can bestow on volunteers is given.
Stay tuned for more highlights as they become available.
